Fun and excitement galore at the Moment’s Spring tournament held in Atlantic City. Part of the excitement came in the form of a Flight I playoff which went 2 holes before a winner was decided. And that winner was Craig Jones (bottom right) who defeated Zubin Shirodkar on the par 3 second hole. Also making it into the playoff was perennial threat Dorrel Allen and Earl Noyan.
In Flight II, Ray Dothard held off the challenge of Ronald Allen. Ray’s second round 87 helped to set up his victory. His 93 final round was good enough for him to coast to the winner’s circle.

The Flight III third and deciding round provided some of the most exciting golf at the tournament. Garnett Sullivan, who led going into the final round, battled Carl Lewis (bottom left) and Charles Wilson for the top spot. The result – Carl Lewis put on an exhibition of shot making that led to an incredible 83, a number not often seen in Flight III. It was no contest. Lewis won by a large margin and now has a target on his back.
