The Moments Golf Club was established in 1994 by a group of business persons, entrepreneurs, and professionals with the intentional objective of strengthening our relationships to bring about improvements in the community. Our members come from all walks of life and include accountants, air traffic controllers, carpenters, contractors, dentists, doctors, educators, engineers, lawyer, publishers, politicians, restaurateurs as well as professionals in the fields of finance, information technology, insurance, law enforcement, labor Pharmaceuticals and more.
The love of golf led us to use the tenets of the game (i.e. – mental agility, skills improvement, discipline, timeliness, social subtleties, etc.) as a vehicle to build a framework and guide us in our interactions to advance economic development in the community and to extend educational opportunities to the youth.
Central to the values of the organization is our scholarship program for college bound young people. Through our Moments Golf Club Scholarship fund our organization makes awards by working with school leadership to identify those graduating seniors who qualify for our scholarships.
